No banner,
because no cookies.

What this site does and doesn't store in your browser — and why you weren't asked.

The short version

This site sets no cookies for ordinary visitors. No analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting. That's why you don't see a cookie banner — there's nothing to consent to.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store, so the site can recognise you between pages or visits. Cookies can be essential (keeping you signed in) or non-essential (analytics, advertising). UK law (PECR) requires consent for the non-essential kind — we simply don't use any.

The cookies that can exist on this site

WordPress, the software this site runs on, sets a small number of essential cookies — but only for people who sign in to administer the site, which visitors never do:

  • wordpress_test_cookie — set on the login page to check the browser accepts cookies; expires when the browser closes.
  • wordpress_sec_* and wordpress_logged_in_* — keep an administrator securely signed in.
  • wp-settings-* — remember an administrator's dashboard preferences.

These are strictly necessary for the site to function for its administrators and need no consent. If you never log in, none of them are set for you.

The PriComp platform is a separate thing

This policy is about this website. The PriComp application itself is a signed-in system and necessarily uses storage in your browser to keep you authenticated during a session — that's strictly necessary for a system you have deliberately logged into, and it is covered by your organisation's agreement with us rather than by this page.

Third-party requests

Our pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts. Fetching a font file means Google's servers see your IP address as part of serving the request, like any web request — but no cookies are set by this. No other third-party scripts, embeds or trackers load on this site.

Managing cookies

Every browser lets you view, block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking cookies entirely won't affect your use of this site — nothing here depends on them unless you're signing in to run it.

If this ever changes

If we add analytics or any other cookie-setting service, this page will list exactly what's set and why, and we'll ask for your consent with a banner before anything non-essential is stored. Questions? Email hello@pricomp.app.
