Your data,
in plain English.

No legalese wall. This is exactly what this site collects, why, and how to make us delete it.

Last updated: 4 August 2026

The short version

This website collects only what you type into its forms. We never sell it, we run no advertising trackers, and you can ask for a copy of your data — or have it deleted — at any time by emailing hello@pricomp.app.

Who we are

PriComp is a property compliance management platform built and operated by Catolyst Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12535555) with its registered office at 24 York Road, Camberley, GU15 4HR. Catolyst Ltd is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. Contact us about anything in this policy at hello@pricomp.app.

This policy covers the website, not the platform

Everything below describes this marketing website. Personal data held inside the PriComp platform by a customer — their staff records, site contacts, engineer details and documents — is processed under that customer's own agreement with us, in which the customer is the controller and Catolyst is the processor. If you are a user of the platform and want to know how your employer handles your data, ask them; if you want to know what we do with it on their behalf, ask us.

What we collect, and why

  • Contact form. Your name, email address, the topic you select and your message — used solely to reply to you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry you chose to send.
  • The Compliance Health Check. Your name, email address, optional organisation name and note, your twelve answers and the scores calculated from them, the date and time you gave consent, a truncated IP address (the first half only, e.g. 82.13.x.x — enough to spot abuse, not enough to identify you), and which page the submission came from. Stored only if you tick the consent box, and used to email you your results and follow up about them. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing us — we'll delete the record.
  • Short links (addresses like pricomp.app/go/… printed on flyers, stand banners or QR codes). We count visits as anonymous daily totals so we know which placements work. No personal information is stored.
  • Technical logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, pages requested, timestamps) for security and troubleshooting, retained for a short period under their own policy.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. WordPress, the software the site runs on, sets essential cookies only when someone signs in to administer the site — ordinary visitors never do. If we ever add analytics, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first. The full story is in our Cookie Policy.

Emails we send

When we reply to you or send Health Check results, the message travels through our email delivery provider, acting as a processor under contract. Your details are used for that delivery and nothing else. We do not run marketing campaigns from this data.

Where your data lives, and for how long

Form submissions are stored in this website's database with our hosting provider, accessible only to Catolyst. We keep enquiries and Health Check responses for as long as the conversation is live and no longer than 24 months after our last contact — or delete them immediately on request, whichever comes first.

Who we share it with

Nobody, for marketing — your data is never sold, rented or swapped. The only parties that touch it are the processors that run the site for us (hosting and email delivery), and we would disclose information beyond that only where the law requires it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR) you can ask us to: show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, hand it over in a portable format, or honour a withdrawal of consent. Email hello@pricomp.app and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If what we collect changes, this page changes first — with a new "last updated" date at the top.
